About me 

I am a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Giresun University, a position I have held since May 2025. I earned my M.S. in Applied Mathematics and my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Missouri University of Science and Technology. In addition, I completed a second M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering at Missouri S&T in May 2016.

My current research focuses on differential and difference equations and time scales theory, with applications in biology and engineering, particularly in control theory and the oscillatory behavior of linear and nonlinear dynamic equations. The calculus of time scales was developed to unify and extend results for both differential and difference equations, providing a comprehensive framework for dynamic systems. In the biological sciences, my work has explored the mathematical modeling of infectious diseases, including monkeypox, HIV, tuberculosis and HPV. In engineering applications, I have been  investigating control strategies for unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, integrating theoretical advances with practical problem-solving.

• September 19, 2025 -- Our article titled  “Nonoscillatory Solutions of Third-Order Nonlinear Dynamic Equations: Existence and Nonexistence” has been published by the Turkish Journal of Mathematics on September 12, 2025.

• July 1, 2025 -- Our article titled “Nonoscillatory Solutions of Third-Order Nonlinear Dynamic Equations: Existence and Nonexistence” was accepted for publication in the Turkish Journal of Mathematics on June 18, 2025.

• May 23, 2025 -- I am pleased to share that I have been promoted to Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Giresun University, advancing from my previous position as Associate Professor.

• June 24, 2024 -- The 29th International Conference on Difference Equations and Applications(ICDEA 2024) was held on 24-28  June 2024 in Paris, France.

• May 14, 2022 -- Our article "Almost Oscillation of a Third-Order Emden-Fowler Equation on Time Scales" has just been  published in Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems.

• April 6, 2022 -- Our AMS Special Session on Analysis of and Recent Advances in Difference, Differential and Dynamic Equations with Applications at JMM 2022 Virtual Meeting  has succesfully been done.

• April 24, 2020 -- Our article "Saturation Control of PVTOL Aircraft on Time Scales" has just been published in Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science.
