Research Areas
I am a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Giresun University, where I combine deep theoretical research with real-world applications, driven by a passion for teaching and mentorship.
My research lies at the intersection of pure and applied mathematics, with a focus on differential and difference equations and time scales theory. The calculus of time scales provides a unified framework for continuous and discrete dynamical systems, and I apply this theory to real-world problems in biology and engineering — including the mathematical modeling of infectious diseases such as monkeypox, HIV, tuberculosis, and HPV.
On the engineering side, my work investigates control strategies for unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, bridging theoretical mathematics with practical applications in control theory and robotics. I am committed to advancing both the theoretical foundations and applied dimensions of modern mathematical analysis.
